Lubatti review

So there's this brand out called Lubatti. I came across this while I was out shopping in Fenwick. Here I found out that this is Tracey Malone's brand, Joe Malone's sister. So I though it looked interesting. So I have a review for their "Dreamy Night Cream" and also some serum like product that the lady at teh counter put on my hand which I am crazy about already.

So above is the picture od the "Dreamy Night Cream". To be honest there is nothing too special about this night cream. However this product is interesting because the texture of this product is very thick and sticky. Personally I don't like very thick creams on my face however very thin creams are just as bad. This being so thick made me doubtful about it. I have realised it is actually quite good. It feels nice on the skin and even though it is thick it does not feel to heavy or sticky when applied onto skin. You only need the smallest amount to cover your face and you wake up feeling refreshed with smooth skin.

Now onto the serum like product. This is going to sound very bad but I have totally forgotten what she put on me. From what I remember it was a serum. The only reason I'm mentioning this product is becasuse I was ccompletely blown away! First of all it smells like heaven. The beutiful scent is one of it's best points. Then after a long day fo shopping and my hands being touching everything it has stayed on my hand. The area with this product feels ever so smooth, amazingly smooth. The scent is still there even after a whole day and it has radiance. Yes, radiance on my hand. So imagine it on the face. If anyone knows what this is please comment or send me a message.

So far so good for Lubatti. I will definately go back to find this serum like product and I will definately try out their other products such as their day cream perhaps. Sorry for not posting in AGES. Please comment and follow!

Products I Regret Buying!

Hey everyone,
Haven't blogged in a bit so here I am.

Okay we've all been there we've seen a product liked it and bought it and regretted it ever so bad. We also see a lot of positive reviews and products people recommend and love, however, it may not work for you. So here is my personal opinions of my disliked products:

COLOSSAL VOLUM' EXPRESS BLACK BY MABELLINE:
Now I have seen great reviews of this, great adverts and literally 99% of people that own it that I know love it...well that's definitely not the case for me. I am very very disappointed.

I'm a girl that likes thick massive fat lashes and trust me mascaras are capable of that. Now I wasn't expecting that however I was expecting SOMETHING! This did not give volume nor length or curvy lashes, just nothing! My lashes look exactly the same as they did without this stupid mascara >:( oh well, what can you do?

CLINIQUE SUPERFIT MAKEUP FOUNDATION:
Oh gosh what a waste of money and time! This was just absoloutley awful! That's all I can honestly say. This is just too liquidy...I mean way too thin. Bad coverage and it's just generally awful. My mother also used this foundation and she got rashes all over her face, in fact any Clinique product gives her a rash.

MINI BOUJOURS NAIL ENAMEL:
Okay so they're cute, handy and expected to be great however I disagree. You see, the beauty of this is that it's mini but mini does not mean impossible to handle. The lid/brush is so tiny it's almost impossible to control. Also the actuall brush is so small that painting your nails takes 10x longer than it would have with a normal sized nail polish.

So guys that's all I have for now however I will be back with more products I didn't like! Hope this helped. Comment and follow! x

Throwing away bucks on eye primer?!!....STOP!

Before eye primer was invented how do you think women got that gorgeous full colour and no creasing? CONCEALER! That's right! Cheap, plain, simple concealer. So stop splurging £11/$18 on Primer potion or Shadow Insurance and save with concealer. Don't believe me? I tried it out. Below you'll see a picture. In this picture I have used a really bad eyeshadow which is hardly pigmented. I have swiped it twice on my hands. One of the swipes have concealer on it.

Sorry about the hazy quality! So as you can see the left swipe is the one with concealer and the right on is without. Notice that?! I evenly swiped them both with the same pressure and amount on the brush. So there you have it! I did another test to see if it creases, okay so I have no picture but....it only started to crease after 7 hours! That's pretty excellent! So there you have it don't bother buying primer just do with your concealer!

Back To Basics!

I'm pretty sure you've heard this so many times before your tired of it but take look, you might just like it. Here I'm going to list some must have basics coming up for autumn/winter. Basics are very versitile, they say 70% of your wardrobe should be basics and 30% new fashion. Over here I've collected some classic basics from the high streets shops. Basics can be worn anywhere, anyhow and any time. To jazz them up add some accessories and patterns and your ready to go! So here are some solid coloured, plan patterned, simple basics:

Coming up!

I've planned a few things. Firstly I'm thinking of a review of some make up products and some other beauty products. I'm also thinking of posting a how-to for a home made lip exfoliant which is going to be explained step by step and also a review on it. Then I think I might do a "My favourite outfits" post. Lots more planned to but these are what I'll probably do now. Leave a comment saying what you think and aslo perhaps a request or suggestion?

What's in my everyday make up bag?! O;

Okay this this post will say exactly what the title says ;) : (all high street/cheaper brands!)

  • Fast stroke liquid eyeliner by collection 2000:
This thing is my must have! I do not leave my house without my liquid eyeliner thickly lining my eyes. Out of all the eyeliners out there this one surprisingly is my favourite. This is because the applicator/brush is hard and pointy which make application so easy and accurate. Personally I hate a soft eyeliner brush. It lasts me very long even though I wear it every single day and the best bit; it stays all day! No smudge, no dissolving and getting ruined. Definately one of the best products I've come across.
  • Colossal 100% black by Maybelline
Now this I regret buying. Many people all over the world use this mascara and use it as their favourite. HOWEVER I hate it! It gives me nothing, nor length nor thickness. This definately was a pointless buy.
  • Glimmerstick eye liner by AVON
This is just a plain kohl stick. The beauty if this is that it's a roll up eyeliner not a pencil so it does not hurt to apply it because its never very sharp. However it is not blunt either. It is very smooth and has great results. One of my favourite products. I use this on my waterline.

  • Sun shimmer bronzer by Rimmel London
Just an ordinary bronzer, it works well however just a little bit is a lot!
  • Hollister lipgloss
Haha yes hollister! This is one of the best lipglosses ever in my opinion, ok that was an exaggaration but it's really good for everyday use. It comes in all these funky colours like the one I have is blue! Oh but it comes out clear. But the main thing about this amazing lipgloss is that it tastes so lush! It's really sweet and when you have it on you can't resist but taste it!

  • Instant radiance Brush foundation by No7
This is a really thick coverage foundation and stays on a very long time. It gives a nice radiant look to your face however it is nothing special.

  • Boing Benefit concealer
This is a good concealer however it did not blow me away! It is just as good as any concealer and is not very good with matching more yellow based skin tones!

Newbie!

Hey!
So as you can see I'm a total newbie and I'm just getting sorted. So for now my layout will be very simple until I can figure out how to do links, new pages and stuff. To find out what my blog is going to about look at the about me box and if your interested about my blog please follow. So first off I think I should do a review about a few products and I'd also like to do something about products I love and hate because those are generally helpful. Do tell me however you can. Haha!

Thank you!
